I meet regularly with my psychologist and my psychiatrist to oversee my lithium & the MAOI tranylcypromine: this is the combination that lifted my treatment-resistant bipolar depression in 2013.
Integration
Regular blood testing for lithium & vitamin D. Vegan B-complex, iron, multivitamin (every other day). Daily: Acetyl L-carnitine, D3, omega-3s, choline & electrolyte blend. 2 tbsp MCT C8 oil in a.m. smoothie. Occasionally enjoy KetoSpike coffee.
Nutritional
Two vegan keto meals daily: morning protein smoothie with chia seeds & MCT C8, and an evening dinner. Targets: 55g protein, <=20g total carbs, 150g fat. Carb Manager helps avoid over-consuming. Drink plenty of water, important while taking lithium.
Ketosis
A.05-2.0 ketone range works well for me; my glucose levels are consistently stable and I use a Keto-Mojo GK+.
