I did not have a care team. I was not on any medications. I did this on my own and learned as I went along thanks to the internet.
Integration
I really went into this without doing any tests. No supplements at first. I did end up using electrolytes from time to time.
Nutritional
I aim to consume 20-30 (total) grams of carbs a day. I'm an omnivore. I don't generally track macros. I usually eat 2 meals a day, 16:8 is a natural eating pattern for me. I find including some extended fasts very beneficial. I love a 36-48 hour fast as a reset once in a while. This really gets my ketones up. It feels great.
Ketosis
When I started I used the urine strips. We didn't have the Keto-Mojo available yet in Canada. I have one now and I feel best at .5 to 1.7.
