We conceived THINK+SMART as a tool to be used primarily during periods of relative stability and hope you will approach it at a time that feels manageable for you and your care team.

Your program will evolve as you learn what works best for you, so be sure to update your worksheet as you incorporate new strategies.

Now is the time to assemble your care team, order tools, stock your refrigerator, and, ideally, have your labs drawn. Although you can certainly use some elements of THINK+SMART on your own, it’s most helpful to integrate your care team, especially if you are using prescription medications or grappling with complex symptoms.
As you discover what works best for you, your program will naturally evolve. Remember to update your worksheet regularly to reflect new strategies and approaches you incorporate along the way. Over time, these updates will also serve as a valuable record of your progress and the steps that made a difference.
