Our Story

Metabolic Mind was founded by the Baszucki family after they encountered the emerging science of ketogenic and metabolic therapies for mental illness. At the time, credible information was difficult to find and even harder to act on. Metabolic Mind was created to close that gap—bringing together research, clinical guidance, and real world experience to help others understand and pursue this approach to mental health.

The Baszucki’s Story

The Baszucki family founded Baszucki Group in 2021 to work toward the greater good. In 2022, the nascent philanthropic organization hosted the first ever Metabolic Psychiatry Roadmap retreat–at which David and Jan shared their family’s story. Metabolic Mind was founded shortly thereafter to advance metabolic therapies for mental health.
